Who We Are

Resume Me is run by Fold Digital Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 09898457). Our registered office is 31 Cattle Market Street, Norwich, NR1 3DY. Fold Digital Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You can contact us at [email protected].

What We Collect

When you join the early-access waitlist, we store what you enter in the form: your name, work email, company, and, if you give them, your company size and a message. With each sign-up we also store the time, your IP address, and your browser's user agent, to stop spam and abuse and to troubleshoot problems.

Sign-ups are saved in our database. We don't add you to a marketing list, and we don't sell or share your details.

How We Use It

We use waitlist information to contact you about early access, reply to your message, understand which employers are interested, and keep spam out of the waitlist. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you've asked to hear from us about Resume Me, and we need these details to do that.

Candidate Wallet

The candidate wallet at resumeme.app/wallet is a preview that runs in your browser. Your profile, document details, applications, consents and activity log are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. They are not sent to us or anyone else, and we can't see them. For documents, the wallet records only the file name, type and size; the file itself is never uploaded.

You control this data: you can download it as a file, import it into another browser, or delete it from the wallet's “Your data” page. Clearing your browser's site data also deletes it. Because the data never reaches us, we can't recover it for you. When you apply to an employer it's you, not Resume Me, who shares your details with them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics only if you accept analytics cookies. If you decline, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded. If you accept, we measure page traffic and successful waitlist submissions using the Google tag associated with measurement ID G-4DXHL2N1VK.

Service Providers

We use Vercel to host the site, Neon to store waitlist sign-ups, Fastmail for our email, and Google Analytics for optional site analytics. Vercel, Neon and Google are US companies and may process data outside the UK. Those transfers rely on the UK–US data bridge (the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) where the company is certified under it, and otherwise on the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.

Retention

We keep a waitlist sign-up for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, then delete it. You can ask us to update or delete it sooner at any time. Google keeps Analytics data for 2 months, Google's default.

Your Rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it or stop using it. You can change your analytics choice at any time using the cookie settings control on the site. We'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
